Project Description
This will be a save the date postcard for an event we are hosting with the Honor Program on campus. The director of the program suggested using an image that is available on the UF stock image site but I couldn’t find it on there and I’ve contacted Housing to see if they can send it to me. I’ve attached a copy I saved from the website so we can at least get started on the postcard until I receive the high res. • Size will be a standard postcard size, do you know the mailing/postage rules for postcards? I know it takes longer to send out but is there anything else that needs to happen? • We did a postcard back in 2015 (I’ve attached) he really liked the design of so if we want to do something similar that is fine (or a completely new design, I leave that to you guys) :) • Event is a Honors Program Friends and Family Brunch, we need to try and incorporate a “Go Greater” (this is a soft fundraising event so we want people to come in to interact with students and faculty and learn about the program, but we also want them to know that we need their help in going greater (aka give us money)  • Event date is Saturday April 14th time and location is still being determined but it will be on campus. • We will be following up with an email so if we can make an email header to go along with the graphic I would appreciate it.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
