WEEK ONE (FRIDAY, APRIL 3) Dance Marathon: A virtual DM raised more the $2.5 million for UF’s Children’s Hospital. (I will draft a short story.) Flanzer Trust: $100,000 gift for critically needed resources to support high-impact epidemiological studies and virus intervention efforts. https://ufhealth.org/news/2020/flanzer-trust-announces-donation-support-uf-health-covid-19-research Testing at Villages: UF Health is working with The Villages retirement community to test residents. Education: Put together a list of online resources to help parents who are homeschooling children. https://education.ufl.edu/news/2020/03/19/online-learning-programs-activities-and-related-resources/ Pediatrics: Created a website with resources for families. https://pediatrics.med.ufl.edu/covid19/kids/ Athletics: UF alumna donates $1 million to UAA to honor longtime UF administrator Ann Marie Rogers. https://floridagators.com/news/2020/3/26/general-ann-marie-rogers.aspx Pharmacy: The college launched a COVID-19 website with resources for pharmacists and, to a lesser degree, the general public. https://covid.pharmacy.ufl.edu/continuing-education/ Masks and Ventilators: Funds have been established for donors to support UF Health’s efforts to develop masks (including 3D) and ventilators. HHP: Donor David Sobelman stepped up with a pledged gift, noting that it’s especially important to support UF during this time. (I will draft a short story.)

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
