Project Description
Postcard Drop Date: August 10 Email Drop Date(s): August 10, 12 and 17 Audience: All alumni (~300,000) + parents of current students SUBSCRIPTION BOX CONCEPT: Building on the momentum of last year's BEAT Box, Swamp Socks and Swamp Swag campaigns, Annual Giving will launch a seasonal subscription box campaign. For a gift of $35, Gators will receive 1 box. For a gift of $100, Gators will receive 4 boxes – one for each season – throughout the fiscal year. Each box will contain a variety of unique UF items that will remind alumni of their time on campus. In order to save on printing costs and provide a cohesive brand, Annual Giving use the same mailer box artwork and naming convention for each seasonal box. Some possible names for the subscription box campaign are Orange & Blue Box, Swamp Subscription Box, or Gator Gear Box. FALL SUBSCRIPTION BOX: Similar to last year’s BEAT Box, the fall subscription box is a “tailgate in a box” and will include the following: 2021 Beat ‘Em All T-shirt, strip of 2021 BEAT stickers*, buttons*, and pom pom.* Alumni will be solicited via postcard and email to make a gift of $35 or more to the fund of their choice, and they will receive a box as a token of appreciation. Messaging might center on school spirit or coming together after the pandemic. *Please use the artwork for the BEAT stickers that will be given out at UFAA tailgates. No artwork needed for buttons or pom pom. When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
