Project Description
we’d like to do a printed photobook (instead of virtual). Below are more details and some questions, but let me know if a quick huddle would be better. We’re working on building out the content with Kim now. Please let me know if this is something your team can help us with. Background: Donor Relations is partnering with Kim Kruse to create a special stewardship touch for the Smallwood Foundation as their cumulative giving has recently surpassed $2M. SCM helped us create a photobook for the foundation in 2019 to mark their $1M giving at the time. This will also be a cultivation tool, as Kim is anticipating that they will be giving a large gift in the future. Timeframe: Kim is meeting with the Smallwood reps in February (date not set yet). She would like to have the photobook finalized by mid-January. We also want to be mindful of printing production lead time. Project needs: • Updated photobook template – Here is the one we are currently using. We’d like to update the template to remove the Go Greater elements. We’ll plan to use the new/updated template for other projects going forward. o Is it possible to add a page with some impact graphics similar to the giving timeline in our shorter length impact report template (View here)? • Design review/print prep – we can place the elements into the template, but someone from your team to review and adjust for printing. Other questions: • Since Smallwood received books in 2019, we’re hoping the new ones can match in style/materials. Have you all been able to use Zno again? Any concerns with vendor/production time?

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
