The Project B.R.E.T. (Bringing ReMission, Ending the Threat) Fund was established by the Children’s Brain Trust (CBT) to support the research efforts of UF’s Brain Tumor Immunotherapy Program (UF BTIP) and the UF-led ReMission Alliance. Families of children diagnosed with brain tumor disease are partnering with the leading pediatric brain tumor research centers of the ReMission Alliance to create awareness and raise funds that will accelerate the pace of their research so one day, soon, the threat of brain cancer on the lives of children everywhere comes to an end.

Your donation will go directly toward efforts to find the cure for pediatric brain cancer. Through your donation and encouraging everyone to do the same, you play a role in this fund’s goal to accelerate pediatric brain tumor research. With your help, UF BTIP will lead this first-of-its-kind collaborative consortium in its quest to rewrite the story of brain cancer and to save the lives of children everywhere.

Gifts can be made via credit card, check, transfers of stock, real estate, or planned gifts such as wills, trusts, and annuities. For information about the fund, please contact Jill Winkelman, 352-273-7986, jill.winkelman@ufl.edu. Contributions can be mailed to PO Box 100243, Gainesville, FL 32610 (checks made payable to the UF Foundation with “Project B.R.E.T.” on the memo line).

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
