Project Description
**1/7 Update** Luke meets with Tom on Jan 18th and asked if it was possible to have a mock up of all materials (as he has for campaign stewardship) showing the ribbon, bag, box and seed packet designs. design-your-own seed packet: https://www.earthlygoods.com/standard-size-custom-packets.html This gift is based on Tom’s vision and will also serve as an annual gift that Tom and President Fuchs can use on donor visits. Tom’s inspiration for the AGG/annual gift comes from a recent trip to FIU where he was presented with a set of dominos. He would like to apply this presentation concept to IFAS seeds, as a way of highlighting our land-grant heritage. Below is an outline of all the elements and current thoughts from Tom’s direction, but we are open to design ideas. AGG is around 250 people, but we’re working with quantities of 500 as we budget all items out knowing Tom will want to use the seeds as the annual gift. Megan Christopherson has reached out to IFAS for information on seed availability, pricing, options, etc., and is waiting to hear back. Please let her know how Creative would prefer to approach vendors for the other components. Would they like to lead, or prefer if DR looked into some or all of these needs? AGG/Annual Gift Components: Branded Gift Bag • Design ideas: Gold Foil UF logo; Blue • Note: Size may depend on box, but we could also be safe with the standard size example from FIU Branded UF Wood Box • Design: UF logo (block or just UF letters) engraved on box • Size: rectangle-ish that can accommodate seeds, open to options Ribbon • Deign: UF Letters on ribbon; open to color options (navy/blue may be best) Seed Packet/Narrative Card • We’ll need some way to either enclose all the IFAS seed packets in something that can have a narrative, or we’ll need a narrative card to go with the seeds however we do package; open to ideas Seeds • Info. from IFAS on availability, pricing, options, etc. (Awaiting info.) In Luke and Lindsey’s 1:1, Luke mentioned that once all of the research/design is complete, he would like to mock up the ideas for Tom to review/approve. On timeline, Lindsey anticipates that we’ll want something to show Tom after the holiday break / in early January.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
