[MAY-26-23 Jason Phenicie] From Elizabeth:
we are waiting on the director’s text edits, but I have requested them again this week. Rob and I will be going over his PPT and Word template on Tuesday as well. Our goal is to have it ready for an event on June 20. I think we’re in decent shape for that.

Per Elizabeth: I wanted to give you a brief update on the Cancer Center document and our Beyond120 project.

We are making our way through final approvals with the Cancer Center piece, and Rob has been making minor text adjustments based on feedback this week.

We have an important meeting on Monday for the director to approve our imagery changes and to finalize our cover choices. After that, we will only have two faculty member approvals remaining. If all goes well, I hope we will be able to send this to the printer by July 1. If an approval lingers, it may take longer. Wed 6/21/2023 1:05 PM

Since the workload is wrapping up with that piece, Rob and I plan to shift our energies to Beyond120 late next week. We’ll prioritize the cancer piece when edits come in, but this will still allow us to move this project forward.

From Jason - Updating due date to 7/14

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
