12/7: meeting set with IC for 12/14 to talk details.

-- [DEC-14-23 Tina Banner] --------------
12/13: Ben and Tina met with Illeana about the Save the Date.  The event is Friday and Saturday, Oct. 25-26. Ileana asked that the design stay similar to the website design.  She is open to a different size if needed. We discuss the implications of postage costs when adjusting size. She agreed to go with the non-profit option and use the first class with the invitation, which should be going out late April or May. Text on the save the date to remain the same.  Ileana will find out if Oak Hammock will remain as a sponsor and if they need to stay on the card. She will know more the week of Jan. 8.

-- [JAN-09-24 Tina Banner] --------------
1/9/24: Tina has reached out to Illeana to see if she has any additional information for the completion of the save the date. She was checking to see if Oak Hammock needed to be on the postcard. Waiting to hear back.

-- [JAN-17-24 Tina Banner] --------------
1/17/24: Spoke with Illena and she requested that we move forward with the design without Oak Hammock. There is a slight chance we might have to add them back in. Staci has a meeting scheduled to firm up Oak Hammock's involvement.

-- [JAN-19-24 Tina Banner] --------------
1/19/24: Ben reworked the post card leaving Oak Hammock off and submitted to Dave for review and modifications. Once complete, Tina sent it to Ileana for feedback.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
