Project Description
In recognition of the heavy lift of compiling this lengthy handbook during an already busy season, we wanted to check with you about modifying the scope of the project to produce a smaller introductory resource for now. Our initial/draft ideas include the following, all pending your expert recommendation: • Similar dimensions/concept as the recent OLSA program • Page 2 (inner left “page”) would feature University facts/overview o Include the 8 interesting facts about UF which you mentioned in the attached draft content o Feel free to add any additional/helpful UF content • Page 3 (inner right “page) would feature the content from the attached alumni engagement metrics (attached) with the following possible layout recommendations: o Alumni demographics content at the top half including Top 5 Alumni Breakdown (snip shown left) o Volunteers/Gator Clubs® splitting the bottom half (left side) with Signature Programs on the bottom right corner if possible, similar to the below snip  Since the purpose is for the UFAA BOD, perhaps move the board content above Gator Clubs® o Communications on the back  Add Gator Network, please: https://gatornetwork.org/ • We’d like to print on the same pearlized paper as the OLSA program, if possible

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
