Project Description

Joe M. would like our team to work with him and Amanda Munroe (new hospital project coordinator) to create a digital proposal/business plan to garner support to fund a boutique hospital in WPB with tentative opening in 2028. The potential site for the new hospital is located south of downtown WPB.

Proponents of the hospital are interested in UF because they want the expertise of an academic medical team and UF faculty. UF is planning to do this as an affiliation with Jupiter Medical Center because of JMC’s local presence and established HR infrastructure to hire nursing and staff. The financial details of that joint venture have not been worked out.

Attached is a PPT that begins to shape the rationale for a UF and JMC alliance and includes a high-level pro forma and a rough timeline. Matt, would you please connect the dots and write the content for a digital piece and Dave, would you assign a designer to this. Joe would like to share a draft with Dave Nelson no later than the end of the week so he can use it as a litmus test with JMC and potential donor investors. They are not looking for slick marketing materials, and instead prefer a business document to be able to advance conversations about the hospital and affiliation.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
