TJM gift notification to Anita Zucker Look/theme: Repurpose some branding around the Baby Gator expansion flyer. The note copy is with Maria for approval, but it will likely be around 90 words (4 sentences). PG doesn’t have a preference on a greeting card style or flat note card. Draft Due Date: Early week of 11/15 Deliver to Anita by 11/26 Project Request: Anita’s employees at InterTech plan to make a gift on/by Nov. 22 to support Baby Gator in her honor as a Hanukkah gift. We want to notify Anita about InterTech’s gift with note a from Tom, but PG would like to print the message on something slightly special rather than Tom's personal notecards given the circumstances. Because the Baby Gator gift from InterTech is for Hanukkah (first night is Sunday, the 28th), they are aiming to have Tom’s note delivered to Anita by Friday the 26th. Given that deadline, and necessary approvals, we'd likely need to have a mock-up by early next week. In terms of the look/theme, I brainstormed a few ideas with Rob, and he recommended we repurpose some branding around the Baby Gator expansion flyer. When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
