09-16-2020 Executive Board Box Design Revise board box design and place order. We determined a 9x9x4 will work best. All imprint art should be the standard “UF” monogram rather than national board. Box should also dispense with the board logo in favor of the standard “UF” monogram. We do not need to revise mockups. We are clear to make these changes and move on to ordering items. 04-02-2021 Admin Retreat 2021 Gift Box For the Administrative Professional Retreat, we are planning to order 70 boxes, one for each administrative professional, filled with some small gifts and a personalized card. UF themed! (Proposal in box, Melissa approved) We would like to use the same design used for Fall 2020 Board box (in box) and place the order with U-printing. One change we need help on: Adding, “Happy Administrative Professionals Day!” somewhere on the box, in place of, “Thank You!” (or in addition to, whatever looks best). Timeline: Not rushed… as Admin Professionals Day isn’t until April 21st. So maybe EOB April 2nd? Flexible! 04-14-2021 Annual Giving Swamp Swag Box 2021 Mail Drop Date: TBD (art/copy due: 4/14) Email Drop Date: April 12, 15 and 20 (not flexible - need to keep these dates to avoid overlapping with other mads emails from C/Us) Audience: All UF alumni and parents According to Forbes, subscription box services have doubled in the past year. From razors to dog treats and toys, these surprise-like boxes are wildly popular, especially among millennials. Market research suggests that the unpredictability of the curated, “lifestyle” content is what is most exciting to consumers. In an effort to boost our alumni participation rate (APR) and get rid of remaining swag inventory, we will market a one-time “mystery box” containing one UF T-shirt (donor specifies shirt size) + 2 other Gator goodies. Donors who make a gift $35 to the fund of their choice will receive a “mystery box” in the mail. Consider utilizing social to promote an “unboxing contest” – donors share a photo or video of their box and tag UFAA and use a designated hashtag. When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
