DMS Nursing Leadership Conference

10-24-2019
The Dorothy M. Smith Nursing Leadership Conference has taken place every other year since 2004 and tackles the most pressing and informative topics affecting health care and nursing. The 2020 conference will take place on February 5, at the J. Wayne Reitz Union on the University of Florida campus.

7:30 AM
Registration Opens
Check-In and light coffee will be available.

Will you need a parking pass?  (Parking)
Reitz Union Parking Garage
If you will need parking during the event, please purchase a pass now. The College of Nursing is reserving 100 spots in the garage and they are first-come, first-serve.

On the day of the event, an attendant will be monitoring the garage starting at 7A until about 9:30A. It is highly recommended that you arrive prior to 9:30A as any unused spots will disappear quickly as parking on-campus is very competitive.

If you purchase a pass, a permit will be emailed to you 2-3 business days before the event. You will need to print it out to show the attendant and will leave it on your dash so that you are not ticketed.

*** Disabled parking is available on the entry-level to the garage and does not need a parking permit ***

Please note that all current University of Florida faculty, staff, and students should plan to park as they would normally as parking passes will not be available to them due to Transportation and Parking Services' policy.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
